Welcome to Carilya! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Carilya platform, which connects car renters ("Renters") with car owners ("Owners"). By using Carilya, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Carilya is a digital platform that facilitates connections between Renters and Owners for car rentals. Carilya does not own, operate, lease, or manage vehicles, nor does it process any payments or handle rental contracts. All agreements, payments, and liabilities are strictly between Renters and Owners. Carilya only facilitates these transactions and does not intervene in rental terms, laws, or disputes.
Users must create an account to access Carilya's services. Renters must be at least 18 years old to use the platform, in compliance with Moroccan contract laws. Renters must provide basic personal details. Owners must provide accurate information about their vehicles. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Any unauthorized use of an account should be reported to Carilya immediately. Carilya reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Renters' Responsibilities: Renters must provide accurate booking information. Renters must comply with the rental terms set by the Owner. Any disputes regarding the rental agreement, including damages, insurance, or liability, must be resolved directly with the Owner. Carilya does not intervene in such disputes. Owners' Responsibilities: Owners must ensure that their vehicle listings are accurate and up-to-date. Owners are solely responsible for setting their rental policies, including pricing, cancellations, insurance, damages, and rental terms. Owners manage all payments and agreements directly with Renters. Owners must ensure that the vehicles listed on Carilya comply with local laws and safety standards. Prohibited Activities: Users may not: - Provide false or misleading information. - Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities using the platform. - Attempt to circumvent the platform's processes for bookings and communications.
Renters submit booking requests, which must be approved by the Owners before confirmation. Cancellations and refunds are subject to the Owner's policy, not Carilya's. Owners and Renters must contact each other directly to handle cancellations and any associated penalties. Carilya is not responsible for disputes arising from cancellations, damages, or rental agreements. Carilya remains outside of such disputes, and users must resolve any issues independently.
Carilya is not a party to any rental agreement between Renters and Owners. Carilya does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legal compliance of listed vehicles. Carilya is not liable for accidents, damages, injuries, or losses occurring during the rental period. It is the responsibility of both Renters and Owners to ensure adequate insurance coverage for each transaction. Carilya will not be responsible for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from transactions between users.
Carilya collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Carilya does not collect or store identification data (such as passports, driver's licenses) and does not share user data with third-party service providers, such as analytics or marketing tools. Data retention policies will be updated in the future to ensure compliance with Moroccan data protection laws (Law No. 09-08) regarding the collection and processing of personal data. Contact details between Renters and Owners are shared only after booking approval. Carilya does not share personal data with third parties beyond what is necessary for platform functionality.
Carilya reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. In the event of a dispute, Moroccan law will apply. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
